Chef Zach has many years of restaurant & culinary experience. He has won two competitions and come in the top 10 for the last 5 years of Bed and Breakfast.com annual competition.
Your room rate includes a full morning breakfast, beginning with freshly ground coffee, a selection of teas, fruit juices and fresh fruit. Our set menus include a combination of homemade waffles, southern biscuits, omelets, baked eggs, Canadian ham, sausage, or bacon. In season, we often serve our famous Darien Shrimp Delight as well! This is very similar to eggs benedict, but we replace the English muffins with a fresh shrimp cake coated in panko bread crumbs. This is then topped with a poached egg and homemade hollandaise!
We are happy to try and accommodate special dietary needs. Please make us aware if your specific requests when you make your reservation. Breakfast is served between 8 am and 9 am, unless otherwise arranged. For guest catching the ferry to Sapelo, we serve breakfast at 7:15 M-F, and 7:45 for the Saturday ferry. We are happy to provide a “to go” breakfast for those that want to get an earlier start on the day by request. Zach’s travels have taken him all over the world from Antarctica, South America, New Zealand, the Caribbean, Asia, Europe and South Africa; you can see Chef Zach’s passion for culinary arts in his award winning breakfasts.
